OCTOBER

October 29 and 30

Fireside Tales of Hallowe'en

Kelburn will come alive with ghosts, ghouls and spooky goings-on this week-end when it hosts a Hallowe’en storytelling event.

Guests are invited to sit under canvas around a campfire and be entertained by professional storytellers recounting spine-chilling tales of the supernatural.

There will be surprises around every corner as the woods come alive with witches, goblins and creepy creatures to make even the bravest soul shiver with horror.

Strange creatures will guide visitors through the magical grounds of the estate to an enchanted storyteller's camp.

Once settled by the fire, prepare to be transported to a world of myth and mystery. As the veil between the worlds is lifted, anything could creep from the darkness. Witches will cast their spells, goblins will  wreak havoc and humans will feel shivers down their spines.

Fireside Tales of Hallowe'en will run from 5.30pm to 7pm on October 29 and 30. Admission is £3 per person with a warming cup of hot non-alcoholic punch.

Tickets will be available on the night, but places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. There will be a prize for the best costume but make sure you dress warmly and bring your own mug.
