Duration of ride 1 hour – riders should be at the
stables fifteen minutes before the start time to be equipped and mounted.
Terrain – hilly woodland estate tracks with wonderful
views over the Firth of Clyde.
Pace – mostly in walk with several short trots.
Level – riders must be capable of basic control of
the horse in walk and rising trot without assistance. The ride will
be assessed before leaving and any rider who is not competent will not
be permitted to go.
Riders must be appropriately dressed with correct footwear.
Suitable for novice/intermediate riders with a minimum age of 8 yrs.
Tariff - £18 per rider

with wonderful views over the firth of clyde
Pace – walk with several short trots and several canters,
the frequency and length of these canters will be dependent on weather
and ground conditions.
Level – riders must be capable and confident of controlling
the horse in canter without assistance. The ride will be assessed before
leaving and any rider who is not competent will not be permitted to
go.
Riders must be appropriately dressed with correct footwear.
Suitable for intermediate/advanced riders with a minimum age of 8 yrs.
Tariff - £18 per rider

These rides are offered in the evening throughout the summer and at other times on request. There is a minimum requirement of two riders to secure the booking.
Duration of ride 2 hours – riders should be at the
stables fifteen minutes before the start time to be equipped and mounted.
Terrain – hilly woodland estate tracks, open moorland
with wonderful views over the Firth of Clyde and surrounding area.
Pace – all paces with the opportunity to gallop, the
frequency and length of these faster paces will be dependent on weather
and ground conditions.
Level – riders must be capable and confident of controlling
the horse in all paces and in open moorland without assistance. The
ride will be assessed before leaving and any rider who is not competent
will not be permitted to go.
Riders must be appropriately dressed with correct footwear.
Suitable for intermediate/advanced riders with a minimum age of 12 yrs
Tariff - £36 per rider (Please note - moorland rides have to be paid in advance)
