John Muir Award
The John Muir Award is an environmental award scheme focused on wild places.
It encourages awareness and responsibility for the natural environment, in a spirit of fun, adventure and exploration.
To gain a John Muir Award you need to meet 4 challenges, these include, discovering a wild place, exploring your wild place, conservation (taking some personal responsibility) and sharing your experiences.
There are four levels of the John Muir Award - Discovery Level, Explorer Level, Conserve and share.
Kelburn is a registered provider of the John Muir Award and has been running programmes for local schools for over four years.
Our Ranger Service will work with you throughout your project offering guidance, knowledge and expertise. Here at Kelburn we are able to offer all four of the award levels.
