Did you know if you visit Kelburn this year in a group of 10 people or more you would qualify for our group entrance fees? These are £4.50 for adults and £3.50 for children/concessions (we do not charge for children under the age of three). Groups can also book our wet weather accommodation – a large pavilion holds approximately 100 and would cost £40 for the day and a small pavilion for 50 people is £20. Barbeques are also available to hire at £5 each.
You may also wish to book a Ranger led walk. There is no additional charge for these walks but the Rangers are limited to the number of walks they can take in any one day so please book early:
Woodland Eco Puppet Show - Meet Bertie the Badger and his friends to learn about how they live and use Kelburn’s woodlands and meadows to survive. Suitable for ages 4-6 years
Mini Beast Sensory Trail - If you dare, join the Rangers and follow this trail. On your journey you will use your sense of sight, smell, hearing and touch to help you discover the secret Micro World of nature and real live Mini Beasts.
Body Walk - Step out on a voyage of discovery to learn how different parts of the body work when we go for a walk.
Woodland Workout Trail - Based on the ‘Forest School Concept’ this walk through Kelburn’s lower glen woodlands encourages gentle physical exercise in a woodland setting, it will also include activities that will use the wildlife and natural history of the glen as inspiration. This walk can be adjusted for a range of age groups.
