Built around 1143, our vibrant historic rural castle is decorated in the transient art form of Brazilian graffiti, an eye-catching bit of history to go and visit.


Our park is set in the beautiful grounds of Kelburn Country Park. Our woodland trails are full of attractions, and will lead you to new adventures and many wonderful places to explore.

More Information for 2019:

Kelburn Country Park is fully open daily from 10am – 6pm.  Our prices vary so please check here before you visit. The centre is closed from 5th – 12th July.  During this period we host the Kelburn Garden party which is a family friendly festival with an amazing program of artists and entertainment.  Separate tickets can be purchased for this event here.

The Grounds and Gardens are looking magnificent with plenty colours still to come with the onset of summer.  Perhaps you will pick a day for a lazy picnic or a more active excursion exploring the glen trails.

For our young visitor, we have play areas, the Secret Forest and a natural environment perfect for adventures.  Kelburn aims to stimulate the imagination, provide an attractive natural landscape and encourage memories to be created.

Our playbarn, cafe and shop are open daily. Standard opening times are 10am – 5pm however please understand this can vary depending on weather and customer demand.

The grounds are engaging so ensure you integrate a visit to the walled garden and venture further along the glen trails.
There is a good network of paths to explore following the river, mature woodland and leading to stunning view points.
