The days are lengthening and we are delighted to be restarting our Junior Rangers for 2020!

Our Wild Kelburn gives a great opportunity for kids to be close to nature for extended periods and develop a greater understanding and a positive relationship with the natural environment.

Activities: Bushcraft, nature walks, tool work, minibeasts, bird box building, natural craft, fire skills and much more. Snack included.

We provide hot chocolate and biscuits.  If your child has specific dietary requirements we can try to accommodate or please supply an alternative for snack time.

Price Options.

Cost per child per session is £5.

The Ranger Centre is our meeting point and gives us an ideal base, providing an indoor area supporting the forest school activities. Kelburn’s Castle and history will also feature as part of the afterschool club and it is hoped they will gain an insight to this amazing estate, which has been owned by the same family for over 800 years.

To participate, we require kids to have good outdoor clothing, including footwear and a change of clothes if arriving in school uniform.

We have changing facilities available and encourage them to be prepared and enthusiastic!

Please email rangers.kelburnestate@gmail.com for more info.
