A call for volunteers… Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March 2020
We’re looking for helping hands who would like to support the conservation of the Kelburn glen over the weekend of 14th and 15th March.
Kelburn glen is a wealth of wildflowers, ferns, shrubs and trees, partly cultivated but predominately wild. Snowdrops have already appeared and by mid Spring, Bluebells, Wood Sorrel and Wood Anemone will be in flower. The glen is home to a variety of wildlife, including roe deer, foxes, squirrels, and hedgehogs; and a huge number of birds, including Grey herons, Buzzards, Woodpeckers and migrants, such as the Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff.
Our Head Ranger, Wayne, would be delighted to welcome anyone interested in helping us for the weekend.
Get out into nature, learn some new skills and discover more about our conservation work.
