1. A choice of backdrops
Kelburn offers five unique and incredibly beautiful options for exchanging your vows (and two for reception venues). Each choice will add a wow factor to your special day.
Choose fairy-tale romance and say your vows in our Castle. The Drawing Room, which dates back to the 1700s and still retains many of its original features, allows a ceremony of up to 60 guests. (The Dining Room in the Castle is available as areception venue.)
Opt for the Pavilion, a blank canvas with open spaces, which can be decorated to suit your style and vision. Glass doors open out onto the green, where bonfires and outdoor dining are possible. (Available for reception venue.)
Take your day outside with a ceremony under the Yew Trees in our walled garden. The Yew Trees have been here for over 1000 years and can offer a natural backdrop for your vows.
Not many can say that they were married at the foot of a magnificent waterfall. Our waterfall drops 20ft into a stunning pool, surrounded by sandstone cliffs. Spectacularly intimate.
Or say your vows overlooking the glen and towards our colourfully quirky castle at the View Point.
2. Incredible photos
No matter where at Kelburn you choose to ‘tie the knot’, the grounds are open to you for photos. Include our spectacular views, waterfall, glen, and castle for spellbinding pics!
3. Our Events Team
Our Events Team have a wealth of experience and can offer you valuable advice before and during your big day. Their expertise is always included, no matter which package you choose.

4. Accommodation
Book the castle for the night before, allowing the Bridal Party to wake in special surroundings and get ready in style, creating the perfect scene for those wedding morning photos. Book for the wedding night too – what a way to start your married life together!
We have glamping accommodation available too, with yurts and bell tents. Perfect for close friends and family, ensuring they’re close by when needed.
5. Completely unique
Not only are our grounds and venue totally unique to Kelburn, but there’s a freedom with us which isn’t always found at other wedding venues. Work with our Events Team to ensure your wedding is completely unique to you. We’re always open to adding a twist!
