Short Glen Walk – Green Dots – 30 mins to complete – Follows wooden animal sculptures around a loop of the glen and passes by the Graffiti wall of the Castle.
History Trail – 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete – Follows information boards about the history of the castle, Boyle family and estate, visits the Cartoon Exhibit, Museum, Monument, Walled Garden and passes by the Graffiti wall of the Castle.

Three Falls Walk – Blue Dots – 1 hour to complete – Follows the river on a loop of the glen via the Beech Plateau, passes by the Graffiti wall of the Castle.
Long Glen Walk – Black Dots – 1 hour 30 minutes to complete – Follows the river on a loop of the glen via Bow Brig, passes by the Graffiti wall of the Castle.
Countess Walk – Purple Dots – 30 minutes to top – 1 hour loop – A moderate hike up past the stables to look out over the sea.
Island View – Orange Dots – 1 hour 30 minutes to complete – A moderate hike up to the Viewpoint to look over the sea, passes the animal and alpaca fields.
A – The Paybox – Info and car park payments.
B – Pavilion – Wedding and Functions venue.
C – Camping
D – Glamping
E – Parking – Green, Yellow & Blue car parks.
F – Viewpoint – a view over the islands of Arran, Bute and the Cumbraes.
G – Walled Garden
H – Castle
I – Sanham’s Bridge – Named after the last fulltime butler.
J – Danny’s Bridge – Named after a previous head ranger.
K – Waterfall Bridge – Crosses above the Waterfall.
L – Monument – Commissioned for the 3rd Earl by his wife Countess Elizabeth – built by Robert Adams.
M – Chestnut Tree – sadly felled in May 2022 due to storm damage.
N – Short Glen Walk Bridge – completely rebuilt in June 2022.
O – Ranger’s Pool – named for the estate ranger team.
P – Beech Plateau – named for the Beech trees that circle it.
Q – Three Falls Bridge – named for the three waterfalls it crosses.
R – Bow Brig – a stone bridge the crosses the highest point of the glen
